NEW SOFT SIDED MAKEUP CASE!!!

I just got my new makeup case (from Yazmo) and i love it!! So roomy.............I will get the chance to try it out @ Essence Music Festival this weekend.......... I am 90% packed. yippee!!! :D

If all goes well w/ my new case, I will purchase the larger rolling one that matches.............then I will pretty much be all set! I will let u know how it goes...........

HOUSTON HEAT!!!

Hey Bloggers!!

Yesterday I had a photoshoot Downtown (outside) and it was really hot!!! I didnt realize just how hot it or I was until I nearly passed out from dehydration.... Because it was to be a quick shoot I didnt think to bring water plus it was late in the evening..... and didnt feel that hot to me @ first (bad choice-one that I won't make again)

Thanks to Sena of Sena's Trinity and the team (her friend and photographer Javier) they saw to it EMS came and took care of me and stayed w/ me the whole time!

I didnt realize that it was after 7pm and I hadn't eaten all day!!

Please be sure before going out in the heat to drink plenty of fluids and eat beforehand (my safety service announcement LOL) i was in pretty bad shape for about 2 hrs (couldnt walk or go to my car and drive home) then when i got home was in bed not feeling all that great.........

I am feeling alittle better now after having a ton of water and several mini-naps!

THE ONE AND ONLY......

Yesterday was really tough for me. I thought someone was sending over yet another sick text joke...........but no. It is true Michael Jackson is gone. I still cant believe it. For some reason I thought I would never see the day (like he was immortal)...........but I guess I thought he would be here forever, singing, dancing, waving, grinning etc. but no he is really gone.

Let us all remember him for the person he was not the mochery the media is trying to make him seem to be. It is a shame they (the media) continue to use their platform for such negativity in times like these. MJ was someones son, brother, father, uncle............instead they are so concerned about how much money he left behind and who gets it or what kinds of medicine he was on and how he interacted with the kids of his close friends! I mean he is gone can u leave him alone now?

KEYSHIA COLE!!!!! DA BOMB CONCERT ....

So yesterday I was able to see my girl Keyshia Cole in concert!!! She was so great! I am a huge fan of hers. :)

My cuzns and I went together and we had a blast.................even though i was battling a cold (ugh) but i am glad i went bc Keshia and the Dream gave a great show.

FAMILY VACATION--SAN ANTONIO!!!!

I took my kids to San Antonio for a fun filled weekend to Fiesta Texas and Sea World! We had a really good time. Friday we enjoyed the day @ Fiesta Texas until closing time and Saturday we enjoyed the day @ Sea World............both parks are great! There is so much to do. There is alot of walking and it was really really hot, but we rode all the rollercoasters and enjoyed the park snacks!!! YUM :D

FAIRY PHOTOSHOOT

Last Sunday I did a really cool photoshoot -- the theme was "Fairies".............the models had some pretty cool costumes, very elaborate and colorful. There was a team of makeup artist on set (the Houston Arboretum) sp?? to do creative fairy makeup to go w/ each of their costumes!! I had a blast!
